Niklas oversaw the implementation and development of procurement processes and digital tools in both Indirect and Direct categories. He ensured compliance with tax regulations and implemented contract management globally to improve transparency and efficiency in spending. As a global team leader in Carlsberg's Procurement Excellence Team, he drove initiatives to enhance procurement practices, with a focus on E-Sourcing, E-Auctions, Sourcing Optimization . Additionally, he established and handed over a team in Poland responsible for supporting Global Category Managers in managing contracts and streamlining pricing in the ERP system, reducing administrative workload.

Via sustainable change management Niklas' role was together with his teams to enable the Procurement category and operational teams across all entities to achieve their ambitions be enhancing their impact through best in class methods/processes and systems.
Driving Business Transformation within Procurement and Finance where he personally have instigated (since 2019) and set the team to kick off (April 2021) a company wide Procure to Pay Program (Source to Pay) including systems (Coupa, apexanalytics, MuleSoft, and various ERPs).

Niklas identified and managed strategic e-sourcing projects for the entire Maersk Group as a Procurement Professional. He implemented and promoted tools and structures for effective e-sourcing, including project management and online reporting. He also focused on change management, developing strategies for advanced e-auctioning, handling high complexity sourcing projects, and creating frameworks to support sales departments in participating in online tenders. Additionally, he designed specific e-sourcing processes to streamline the procure-to-pay (P2P) process, optimizing the use of off-shore resources. Niklas has a track record of successfully executing e-sourcing projects and e-auctions across various categories such as IT software and hardware, telephony, transportation and logistics, consultants, and more.
